Dr Ryan Angelo

Founder & Lead Chiropractor

My interest in chiropractic care was sparked by my own personal experiences. Having struggled with what the ICD labeled as ADHD, ADD and Dyslexia throughout my childhood, I felt something was missing (and maybe you feel the same about your child). These labels never gave me the answers to what was truly causing this. It was a way to pacify the issue and get me through the class. But I felt my brain was wired differently but no doctor wanted to take the time to unpack it. It was all God that I found myself enrolled at Palmer College of Chiropractic. It was there that I was presented with this truth about our brain and bodies innate healing potential. I discovered our bodies are made well and on purpose, not to fail but to thrive if the brain is wired and adapting well. Chiropractic care provided a way to rebalance my brain and I began to truly seeing the world in a different way. This transformative experience inspires me and pushes me to help others who face similar struggles. If you’re not happy with the answers you’re getting for your health or the health of your kids; I can understand and I would be happy to show you a different way.

In addition to my personal journey, my passion further ignited by providing care to my mother who suffered from debilitating back pain and underwent multiple spinal surgeries. Through chiropractic care she was able to regain her mobility and quality of life and has not had to pursue any further surgeries.

Makenzie Angelo – Social Media Care Advocate

Hi, I’m Makenzie. I have the highest honor of being Dr. Ryan’s wife and the mother to our two beautiful little boys, Valor and Atlas.

I grew up in Southwest Michigan with my two amazing sisters. My health journey began a few years after graduating high school when I made a huge diet change, began exercising and truly prioritized my health.

I felt led to join a missions group where I moved to California and was able to tour across America to college campuses to spread the Gospel. It wasn’t until a few months prior to this that I met Dr. Ryan. Not only did I fall in love with him but was also introduced to chiropractic in a way that has changed my life. Meeting him made moving to California difficult but thankfully, those seven months flew by.

While I moved away, Dr. Ryan opened our office out of our “soon to be” home. I was able to see the growth and healing taking place from afar. We got engaged and once tour wrapped up, I moved to Northwest Indiana and we got married.

It was amazing to see lives being changed through chiropractic up close. Fast forward to now and it’s still just as incredible! One of my favorite things about being apart of the chiropractic world, is hearing the testimonies! Spreading the message of nervous system focused chiropractic care is something I will always strive to do!

I don’t know what I’d do without chiropractic. It’s the foundation of my health and my family’s health. I believe I wouldn’t have had such smooth pregnancies and births without it, nor would my health be at the level it is.
I am so grateful to have a front row seat of seeing all that chiropractic has to offer the families of our community and beyond!

Lacey Peach – Care Advocate

I was born and raised in Southern Indiana. My siblings and I grew up playing outside, swimming, fishing, riding bikes, gardening (although I dreaded it as a child, I LOVE it now) and spending most summers at a ball diamond somewhere!

After graduating high school, I attended a small Bible College, where I later met my husband, Dave. We were married in the summer of 2006 and after his graduation in 2008 we left everything we knew and flew across the world to Africa, where we were a part of mission work for 3 years.

Our first child was born in the fall of 2008, our one and only princess, Kacey (14), who is followed by 5 brothers. Yes, 5! Andrew (13), Remington (10), Maverick (7), Colton (5), and Archer (7 months).

The world of chiropractic isn’t new to me or my family and it’s been part of our healthcare for years. What was new to me is neurologically focused chiropractic.

After a traumatic birth of our son Andrew, and the start of seizures at the age of 6, it put us on a very lonely journey of searching for a root cause to our otherwise healthy son. They were at their worst in 2021 and 2022 and we were desperate for help. But this mama bear wasn’t giving up. Through a series of events and a Facebook group, I found Premier Wellness Chiropractic and Dr. Tony Ebel who has an intensive protocol for perfect storm kiddos like Andrew.

After the 2-week care in Illinois, Andrew was transferred here to Adjusted Living. Dr. Ryan welcomed us like family, and the improvements we’ve seen in Andrew is amazing. He’s sleeping better, his absence seizures are nearly gone, and the span between his tonic clonics are getting longer. I thank God for bringing us this far and across the paths of these beautiful people.

I fully believe in chiropractic and how given the right adjustments the body can heal itself. I love all things health and wellness and I am so honored to be a part of the Adjusted Living Team.

My hope is to be a light of encouragement to our community and that next mom that’s lonely and searching for answers. I look forward to meeting you and connecting with you and your family.
